Cohen & Master Tree and Shrub Services are committed to the longevity and preservation of urban trees; however, there are some situations where it is not possible to save the tree, such as a hazardous tree, a dead tree or one that is in extreme decline. Proper information from one of our Certified Arborists will help you determine the best course of action. If you live within Toronto, you will need a permit to remove any tree over 30 cm in diameter. This is measured at 1.4 meters from ground level. The city will only accept applications that include a proper Arborist’s report and replant plan. Cohen & Master will apply for your permit and work closely with the city foresters to advance your application.
We will remove your tree using advanced techniques of rigging, climbing and felling. Tree removals are extremely hazardous and should only be attempted by professionals.
