Ian Bruce
Ian BruceSenior Consulting Arborist
Ian is a Senior Consultant for Cohen & Master. He has over 50 years experience in the field of arboriculture, horticulture, and landscape architecture. Ian is an honours graduate of the Niagara Parks Commission School of Horticulture, a Certified Arborist with the International Society of Arboriculture, a consultant registered with the American Society of Consulting Arborists and is ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualified (TRAQ).
Ian has been in the commercial tree care sector for 25 years; a college professor in arboriculture and urban forestry for 27 years, and have been providing consulting services to the professions since 1985. Ian’s areas of specialty include inventorying, assessment and preservation of trees relative to land development and re-development; tree risk assessment; tree care specifications and forensic arboriculture. He has previously been qualified as an expert witness and has given testimony numerous times before OMB, in Ontario Court and at coroner’s inquest.
Adam Walicki
Adam WalickiSenior Consulting Arborist
Adam has over 18 years of professional urban arboriculture experience. He is a Certified Arborist with the International Society of Arboriculture. Adam specializes in arborist reports, tree inventory and assessments, tree protection and preservation plans, ravine stewardship plans, risk assessments, tree inspections for construction and non-construction, root explorations and reports, soil and foliar sampling, plant health assessments, and sonic tomography in the private and public sectors throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
Sarah Lamon
Sarah LamonSenior Consulting Arborist
Sarah has 14 years of experience in the field of arboriculture and urban forestry. She is a graduate of the University of Toronto’s Master’s program in Urban Forest Conservation, and a Certified Arborist with the International Society of Arboriculture. Sarah specializes in inventorying, assessment, and preservation of trees on sites under development. She is also responsible for creating plans for projects that require tree preservation, ravine and woodlot restoration and replanting. Her clients are predominantly from the private and corporate sector; including architects, landscape architects and urban planners.
Dylan Stevenson
Dylan StevensonConsulting Arborist
Dylan has 21 years of experience in arboriculture and is a consulting arborist and lead climber for Cohen & Master. He is a graduate of Humber College with an Arborist Certificate of Achievement and is a Certified Arborist and Tree Worker Climber Specialist with the International Society of Arboriculture. Dylan specialized in evaluating and assessing the condition of trees and shrubs, writing arborist reports, on-site supervision of root exploration projects inside tree protection zones, and sonic tomography.
Shree Gautam
Shree GautamConsulting Arborist
Shree is a consulting arborist and urban forester. He has over 20 years of experience in arboriculture and urban forestry. He is a graduate from Tribhuvan University in Nepal with a Masters of Science in Forestry and from the University of Toronto with a Masters of Forest Conservation. He is a Certified Arborist with the International Society of Arboriculture and a Registered Professional Forester. Shree specializes in planning, research, management and conservation in the urban forestry sector. He is a also responsible for tree inventory, valuation, hazard and risk assessment and protection and data analysis.
Megan Wain
Megan WainConsulting Arborist
Megan Wain is a dedicated Consulting Arborist with over ten years of experience in arboriculture. She holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Sustainability and has earned certification as an Arborist through the International Society of Arboriculture.

Based in Milton, Ontario, Megan specializes in providing expert consulting services for tree preservation, risk assessment, and urban forestry management. She has personally planted over one million (1,000,000) trees, demonstrating her practical commitment to environmental sustainability and her passion for trees. Megan’s combination of expertise and dedication, along with her education, make her a trusted advisor for the health and longevity of our urban forests.

Sebastian Bravo
Sebastian BravoConsulting Arborist
With over 20 years of experience as a consulting arborist, Sebastian is a trusted authority in arboriculture. Sebastian joined us from Tree and Ravine Inc., bringing his wealth of expertise to Cohen and Master. He specializes in tree and site management, preservation, and urban forestry. Sebastian serves clients ranging from municipalities to residential homeowners to commercial clients, throughout the Greater Toronto Area, specializing in arboricultural services such as arborist reports for development applications, visual tree risk assessments, Air Spade root exploration, tree management plans, and Ravine Stewardships. His dedication to biodiversity and permaculture principles, environmental sustainability and community education makes him an asset in this field and to the Cohen and Master family. Sebastian is a valued leader on site, utilizing his years of experience working on a multitude of varied projects throughout the Golden Horseshoe Area.
Fernanda Ureña
Fernanda UreñaConsulting Department Executive Assistant
Originally from Costa Rica, Fernanda joined the C&M team as the Executive Assistant for the Consulting team. With a background in software engineering, she brings a wealth of technical expertise to her work.

Throughout her career, Fernanda has worked on a variety of projects, ranging from developing web applications to designing complex algorithms. Her attention to detail and problem-solving skills have earned her recognition as a reliable and efficient team member.

In her current role , Fernanda utilizes her technical background to support the team in various tasks, including data analysis, report generation, and software implementation. She is known for her adaptability and willingness to learn new skills to contribute effectively to the team.

Brian FitzSimons
Brian FitzSimonsConsulting Department Manager
Brian is a dedicated manager overseeing the Consulting Arborist department. His journey in arboriculture began with a strong interest in nature and a desire to make a positive impact on the environment. He pursued education and training in the field, gaining practical experience and knowledge along the way. Brian is proud to hold certification as an Arborist through the International Society of Arboriculture.

In addition to his expertise in arboriculture, Brian is skilled in project management, having successfully led numerous tree preservation and urban forestry projects. He excels in coordinating teams, engaging stakeholders, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within scope.

Brian’s dedication to environmental stewardship, combined with his expertise in arboriculture, ISA certification, and strong project management skills, makes him a valuable asset to his team and a trusted advocate for the health of our urban forests.
