Cohen & Master is excited to be a part of a wonderful Tree Planting and Stewardship project with LEAF and the Toronto Community Housing Corporation.

This fall, we will be planting trees at TCHC properties as part of a pilot project to promote tree planting and engage tenants in ongoing tree stewardship. These properties lost a number of ash trees to the Emerald Ash Borer infestation, so there is a need to plant new trees on these sites. The large amount of space and softscape will make these properties perfect homes for the young trees! We know that green spaces lead to improvements in health and well-being, and caring for trees connects communities and brings people together for a common goal.

We are happy to be partnering with LEAF and TCHC, as well as Park People and City of Toronto Urban Forestry. Being able to collaborate with such a range of organizations helps to spread our love of trees and the importance of growing and caring for our urban canopy.

At Cohen & Master we believe that healthy trees are an integral part of a healthy city. By engaging with our communities to share our knowledge of tree planting and tree stewardship, we hope that more and more people will be inspired to Be Good to Their Trees!

Be Good to Your Trees.

Because Your Trees are Good to You.
